I'm sitting in the hotel in Marco Island Fl. This hotel is the central evacutation center for this area and the headquarters for the Emergency Management. They have spent over $2mm in renovations to make the hotel hurricane safe.
I'm supposed to fly back to Dallas on Wednesday morning but will probably be delayed.... we'll see. This TX girl's not too sure about this hurricane business.
