Before ALL the other events in July, came my birthday!!!! Ray gave me the perfume I had run out of and then took me to a great dinner at La Calle Dolce. A mexican food place that had been in Dallas for a very long time. It recently burned and just recently re-opened after a makeover.
After dinner we went to another old Dallas location called Hole in the Wall. And it really is a hole in the wall. A Dive with live jazz on Wednesday nights. Hooked up with a friend from high school and had a great time. Her husband plays guitar and we listened for a while. THEN, one of the other audience members serenaded me with a very personal Happy Birthday song.
