My 26 year old son just did his first day and a half substitute teaching assignment. IN FIRST GRADE! I would have given anything to see that in person. My big 'ole boy riding herd over a group of 20 first graders on their 3rd day of school. I have to laugh, but i'm very very proud.
I can't imagine him bending over, squating down explaining something to some small munchkin. He said teaching first graders is like teaching muppets.
gotta love it!
