the weekend in review

This past weekend was Ray's maternal grandmother's side of the family's annual reunion. Ray is very lucky to have 2 grandmothers with us. Ruby Kneggs is, I believe 93 and Helen Webb is 92. That is pretty amazing. His grandmom Webb was one of eleven children. HOW DID THEY DO THAT? Eleven kids. 9 girls and 2 boys. The 4 remaining girls of the group were there on Saturaday, that is a blessing.
I wasn't very close with this picture but left to right is Flora, Sybil, Helen and the baby Jane. They are all wonderful inspiring women.
This is Ray's grandmother Helen. She has a very sharp sense of humor that catches you off guard. Love her.

Over the past 2 1/2 years we have so many pictures of #1 grandboy Jake, #2 Luke is growing so fast we seem to be skipping ahead! Here is Luke from this past Saturday.

His hair reminds me so much of my son Clayton's when he was little, standing straight up. He's a happy boy and loves to be tickled, tossed up in the air, and he loves it when Elmo (me) gives him sugar on the neck.

Now, stay tuned the rest of the week for my photo journal of the Country Music Awards in Nashville TN. I cannot begin to express my excitement. This is honestly a dream come true for me. I never ever thought I would have the opportunity I'm getting this week. I don't know where I'm sitting, I don't care. I'll be there! Live and in Person.
