This is a happy time of year but I can't help being sad at times. I miss my Dad so much. You never understand until you have it happen to you. He was Family Glue. Mom is too but Dad was so much more. There are so many things I'm happy for; I'm happy that he met Amanda and got to see Clay happy and content. I'm glad he met Ray and got to spend the time with him and know that he would take care of me. I miss him calling me Lucy Lu, I really really miss that.
I can't imagine how my Mom does it. Being with one man for over 60 years and then not.
