The Extreme Home Makeover on Sunday 2/17? The blind paraplegic (sp?) boy who sang, played the piano, trumpet, marched in the band at U of L? Absolutely amazing. Nothing stopped him. He started playing the piano at age 2. Blind! By Ear! Others in the band said he could hear something one time and have it. Everytime.
He couldn't understand why he was considered an inspiration. He said he was just a guy, living his life just like anyone else.
After EHM presented the house, including a small "apartment" for him, He sat down at a new piano, sang and played Brooks and Dunn's "I Believe". It was one of the most moving things i've seen on TV in a long time.
We get so caught up in our everyday crap we forget that our crap is so insignificant compared to some others we lose sight of how absolutely lucky we are.
