Merry Christmas Ya'll

On Christmas Eve we traveled down into Dallas to have a relaxing dinner with some friends and hang out a little bit.  I did a big pan of lasagna and hostess provided salad and bread.  It was quite yummy. We also walked through the neighborhood to look at some festive lights.
In years past, Highland park was known for its awesome light and Christmas displays.  Today the lights are pretty but there aren't near as many houses that are decorated and there are more blow up figures than the old decorations that I remember.

Our Christmas morning tradition now includes going to breakfast at Clay and Amanda's and to play with Emmy and watch her open presents.  Lots of fun and this year, Clay did eggnog french toast... more workouts for me!

A growing up kitchen and a tub of dress up clothes were a hit.

Pops took a little snooze after breakfast.

I'm happy to be off the rest of the week.  It's already Friday and I don't want to go back to work next week.
